1. Describe your overall thoughts on the final piece.
I actually enjoyed making this project, it also reminded me of when I added animation to the signatures I made for forums
2. How successful do you feel this piece is and why?
I could have colored in the drawing a little better but other than that it was excellent
3. What worked about this project? What didn’t work?
The actual animation part worked well but the lining up of the pictures was a little off.
4. If you were to do this project over again, what changes would you consider making?
Being a little more creative with my drawing would be something I would change.
5. What was the most difficult part about completing this piece and why?
I thought this project was very simple. It only took me a few days to complete.
6. What did you learn from this piece?
Animation isn't always terrible

5 Compositions With 5 Elements
^ Photo
^ Font
^ Brush
^ Texture
^ Hand drawing
1. Describe your overall thoughts on the final piece.
I really like the final looks of all of these, really brings me back to what I used to do with Photoshop. I like stuff like this and can get pretty creative while at the same time being really simple.
2. How successful do you feel this piece is and why?
I think I did a good job at keeping the focus on the element that I was intending to be the focal point.
3. What worked about this project? What didn’t work?
The 5 different elements that I used worked really well together and I also like the colors. Only thing that I don't think worked very well was the idea of adding the elephant in all of them, I had a hard time figuring out where I wanted it but then once I found a good spot it all came together.
4. If you were to do this project over again, what changes would you consider making?
There isn't much I would really change about this. I like the idea of it and how I got the designs to look in the end.
5. What was the most difficult part about completing this piece and why?
The elephant, or hand drawing. I didn't know where to put it.
6. What did you learn from this piece
I learned a little of what I really like doing with Photoshop

Facemation - [scrubs] Theme song
I like the way it turned out but I now hate the song. There are a few parts of the song where the mouths might be a little off but that is something that is hard to get perfect. The different pictures and being in the same place worked decently but it was hard to do without spending like a whole class period taking pictures. I would do a song I already didn't like if I had to do this over again. Figuring out what sound each frame made and getting the certain face in the right place to make it all look good was rather difficult and I would say the hardest part of the project. Face animation is a lot harder than you would think but once you get on a roll it is easy.

NY Poster
Every year the Art History class goes on a trip and my class was told to make DC/NY posters. This is my New York Poster I spent a good amount of time on it and really like it. I think as a piece of art this is really good and I love the idea, but as a poster it would be good but Mr. Sands didn't say we weren't going to NY until after I finished. If I did this again I would spend a little more time making the squares of color not as sloppy and look more professional. The hardest part in my opinion was getting all the little squares the right shape so when it was just the black background it looked like the building. I learned to not waste your time on posters for NY Art History trips that Mr. Sands decides you aren't going on.

Washington, DC Art Hitsory Trip Poster
The overall idea is something that could be very successful but I'm not a huge fan of how I had to place the text. The way the text is just crushed into the top and randomly placed under the bus really bugs me but I do like how it shows kids having fun before they even get to DC. Every year the Art History class goes to DC, you should go.

Deadpool and Bullet through glass (tutorial)
I finished my work a little early and found a tutorial that showed how to make a picture look like someone shot a hole into glass. I really like this so bam

Owl made of books
Our project was to make some animal or something out of different objects of one subject. I got the idea to make a owl out of books when in my 3rd peiod class we used NC Wise Owl, I was also in the library at the time. Mostly used the trasform tool and eraser for this.

Fishy goes splat :P
We learned Flash today, its simple enough. I made a fish jump out of a bowl and hit the ground with a messy splat heh...
What Aisha wanted done.
We were given the picture on the left that had the things the actress Aisha wanted done. The final product is on the right, using the liquify filter, clone stamp, and spot healing tool I made parts of her slimmer, and got rid of the lines and directions. With the Levels feature I made her jeans darker, and eventually I got it to my liking. If she likes it I don't care she won't be seeing it!
Retouching
We learned how to retouch pictures this week, I personally don't really like doing it, feels weird to me. But we had to choose from two pictures, I choose this one. Clearly. On the left is the original and the right after I finished with it. I used the liquify tool and the spot healing tool mostly. Not very good with the liquify tool so I didn't do much.

Saxophone!
Our assignment on this project was to take an image we took or got from a free resource website and take a picture of diet coke and mentos, or a paint splat Merge them together in some creative way, then BAM you have something cool. I choose to take a picture of a dude playing sax, cut him and the sax out from the background, then took a paint splat and changed its shape and color, used the burn and dodge tools to make it nice and blended. On the background I added a lens flare and then proceeded to crop it.

Color Wheel
We were supposed to make a color wheel. I took a picture of a cross, copied it, rotated them, then used a gradient tool with all those colors, and also messed with some blending options. With the color wheel in the background I stretched it a little bit to give some curvyness so it wasn't as boring, then used a filter called colored pencil. This is what I got, its alright not bad. If I did it again I would pay attention to the directions so I didn't ask for so much help

Who am I? (Personality Portrait)
Last week we were given cameras and a picture frame. We had someone take a picture of us and then put it on the camera and then photoshop. I went through a few ideas in my head and tried some but ended up not really liking what happened. Then I realized that I had a Paramore shirt on from the concert I went to during the summer. Using the lasso tool I took the background out of the frame and insert a few copies of a picture of a Paramore concert. I did this because while I'm at school I would rather it still be the summer and I wish Leigh would leave me alone. The End

Pteropardow/Pterowtah cause i dont really know.
This week we started the newimal project. Our goal was to take a picture of one animal and using photoshop make a new one adding different pictures of different animals. I decided to combine a cow, a pterodactyl even, and a leopard/cheetah (i don't really know the difference...).
I started off with this picture of a cow flying over the ocean with a dolphin and guess what? I got rid of the dolphin! Then I added the pterodactyl wings and eventually the leopard/cheetah I'm not sure which one face. The pterodactyl wings looked awkward cause they weren't the same color so I used hue/saturation and changed them to fit more and erased a little of the left wing to blend it a bit. The leopard/cheetah I'm not sure which one face I erased bits and pieces and then changed the color. It was all pretty simple but I think it looks alright. I also made a copy of the two wing layers, messed with the blending change thing to make it more shadow looking and all that fun stuff.

Pancake
This is a tutorial we did on the first day. After we finished I added eye balls that made it look more friendly. We started out with a picture of pancakes and used the liquify tool to stretch out the space between two of the pancakes. Then we took a picture of fish jaws with sharp teeth and cut out the jaw. After that we placed the jaw in between the pancakes and edited to make it fit. Later I edited the color of the jaws to make it look more like it was actually part of the pancakes, after we finished with that I googled eyes and found those eyes and placed them on the blueberries. If I were to do it again I would have done more to it to make it exciting, but it is just a tutorial so I didn't mind it being boring. I like the way the eyes and mouth came out to make it kind of like a smile instead of a pancake that would eat you as you tried to eat it.
